A workshop around sound, silence and shonky acoustics.

In this short workshop facilitated by Madison Bycroft, students will share their experiences of sound, invent and construct their own 'instrument' and collectively produce a sound based work.

Emphasis will be on experimentation, and no prior knowledge is required. Topics that may be discussed include 'sound art' practices, non-expert musicianship, the chorus, improvisation, and the materiality of voice and sound.
